“Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.” – Sir Charles Chaplin
“I was born in London the year Charlie Chaplin died. A few years back I found myself trying to impersonate him, during a brief stint as a street performer. I wasn’t very good, but it taught me to speak without really speaking.

My camera helps me speak when all I want to be is silent, pushes me to find purpose where it seems there is none, and opens my eyes when they refuse to see. I’m interested in capturing candid moments of everyday life, sometimes funny, quirky or a little tragic.” ~ Larry Hallegua
